Your annual flu vaccination is now due; please do not ring the surgery to make an appointment

 

The Practice would like to invite you for your free annual flu vaccination, in order to comply with social distancing regulations and ensure patient safety, we will commence a new service from the 5th October 2020. This will be a Mass Flu Vaccination with drive through to support the higher volume of patients eligible for a flu vaccination this this year, there will also be a pre-bookable "walk through" option at the site.

 

If you are eligible you will be contacted by us with booking instructions

When you have completed your online booking, you will automatically be emailed a confirmation of your booking slot and a unique booking reference number which you will need to bring with you to your appointment. The email will also include a link to instructions for attending the site.

 

Venue: Moor Lane Car Park, Askham Bar (old Park & Ride site), Tadcaster Road, York YO24 1LW

 

Time Period for the Service: the service will be operational for 5th October 2020 to 31st January 2021.  The service will aim to offer convenient opening hours – currently at weekends and selected midweek days.

 

If you are housebound, unable to drive, have a general enquiry or wish to decline this vaccination please contact the practice.

If you are aged 50-64 and not in an at risk group you will be invited for your flu vaccination later in the year.
